Canadian Public Health Association
The Canadian Public Health Association (CPHA) is a national, independent, not-for-profit, voluntary association representing public health in Canada with links to the international public health community. Universal and equitable access to the basic conditions which are necessary to achieve health for all Canadians is a core belief for CPHA.
- CPHA identified “acting on the social determinants of health” as one of the 12 great achievements in 100 years of CPHA.
- The CPHA’s Frontline Health website documents Canadian success stories and features audio clips of the real-life experiences of those involved in social determinant of health and health equity efforts; backgrounders and supporting materials about the initiatives; and tools and resources designed to improve health and health equity through a socal determinants of health approach.
