Centre for Research on Inner City Health
The Centre for Research on Inner City Health (CRICH) based out of St. Michael’s Hospital in Toronto works to reduce health inequities through innovative research that supports social change. CRICH conducts research to better understand the linkages between poverty, social exclusion, and poor health.
The 2010/2011 Impact Report features stories about research in action: testing solutions, raising awareness and developing tools to support social innovations for equity in health.
- CRICH has a short video series, “Let’s Get Talking: Social Innovation, Equity and Health” which explores the social innovations that the Centre studies, and what health equity means to CRICH researchers.
