The Community Health Nurses of Canada (CHNC) is a voluntary association of community health nurses and provincial/territorial community health nursing interest groups. CHNC aims to advance practice excellence among community health nurses; create opportunities for partnership across sectors and networks; strengthen community health nursing leadership; advocate for healthy public policy to address social and environmental determinants of health; and promote a publicly funded, not for profit system for community health. CHNC is an associate member of the Canadian Nurses Association.
