New Brunswick Health Council

The New Brunswick Health Council is a public body created by the Government of New Brunswick to promote and improve health system performance.

  • The New Brunswick Health Council’s Annual Report 2009-2010 describes the way they have adapted determinants of health thinking into their 10-40-40-10 model of what influences health: 10% health services; 40% health behaviors; 40% socioeconomic factors; and 10% physical environments. The Report also features their Population Health Snapshot consultation with over 500 New Brunswickers.
