Ontario Public Health Association
The Ontario Public Health Association (OPHA) is a not-for-profit organization that provides a strong, unified, independent voice for all citizens committed to improving the health of all Ontarians.
- In summer 2010, the Association of Local Public Health Agencies/Ontario Public Health Association Working Group on Social Determinants of Health did an electronic survey of Ontario health units to determine activities and needs in addressing determinants of health and health equity. 64% of health units responded, including all levels of management and staff. The Summary Report provides a snapshot of the wide-ranging engagement with the issues, including plans, programs, policies, and activities.
