The Pan-Canadian Public Health Network (PHN) is a forum for public health experts from many sectors and levels of government that aims to strengthen and enhance the capacity of public health in Canada. Created by Canada’s Federal, Provincial and Territorial Health Ministers, PHN is a collaborative, intergovernmental mechanism that enables governments to work better together in addressing public health issues and responding to public health events. A primary goal of PHN is to “improve health outcomes and reduce health inequalities.”
