The Regional Health Authority Central Manitoba (RHA Central) provides health care services, including prevention programs, to the people of Central Manitoba, and builds partnerships with the community.

  • The RHA Central Manitoba published the results of a 2009 Community Health Assessment that illustrates the relationships between the determinants of health and the health of population groups in Central Region. They define a ‘community health assessment’ as “a dynamic, ongoing process undertaken to identify the strengths and needs of the community, to enable the community-wide establishment of health priorities and to facilitate action that will improve community health and quality of life” (p. 1-2).
