Webinar: Public health ethics and equity
The NCCDH and the National Collaborting Centre for Healthy Public Policy (NCCHPP) co-presented a webinar entitled "Public Health Ethics and Equity: Naming and Navigating Ethical Issues in Public Health Practice."
In this webinar, presenter Dr. Bernie Pauly shared insights drawn from the the Equity Lens in Public Health (ELPH) research project into some of the ethical issues practitioners face in addressing health inequities in public health practice, as well as some means for navigating these issues within health organizations.

Sume has professional experiences in equity-focused organizational and community development and change, social justice education, HIV/AIDS prevention, research, knowledge translation, evaluation and women's rights with local, provincial and global organizations. Sume has previously contributed to teams at the Program Training and Consultation Centre of the Smoke Free Ontario Strategy, the Regional Diversity Roundtable, Ontario HIV Treatment Network, Southern African AIDS Trust and the Centre for Social Justice.
