This commentary discusses the importance of person-centered interventions that address social isolation among older adults and are responsive to older adults’ diverse needs and experiences. Amid COVID-19 public health measures, the authors reflect that interventions aimed at promoting health and preventing poor physical and mental health outcomes related to social isolation among older adults are critical.
