This report produced by Social Policy and Projects Research Team for the City of Vancouver puts a spotlight on systemic inequities during COVID-19. The resource features a framework to identify populations disproportionately impacted by COVD-19 by type of impact, including epidemiological risk, barriers to preventive measures, and socioeconomic inequities.
The authors offer recommendations for equitable pandemic recovery, such as reframing inequities, policy response and actions to establish recommitment to address root causes of ill health.
