What are the factors that influence health? And, what are the opportunities for integrated, networked public health action at multiple levels?

In this webinar Pemma Muzumdar and Inès Zombre will explore these questions and more, and reflect on the wider forces and systems that interact with the conditions of daily life.

Pemma and Ines will:

  1. review updated descriptions for the structural, social and ecological determinants of health.

  2. share a tree metaphor for conveying these concepts

  3. reflect on how concepts such as these determinants of health fit together

  4. discuss opportunities for public health action at multiple levels

This webinar will be of interest to:

  • Students and early career public health practitioners from multiple disciplines
  • Public health practitioners wishing to learn more about interrelated determinants of health and opportunities for improved action

Objectives:

  • Describe interrelated social, ecological and structural determinants of health.
